Advisor, TGCF’s Children’s Resource Exchange Center
Rahul Dodhia is the Director of Data Science at Microsoft. Currently in the Office of the President, his team provides expert leadership on artificial intelligence in Microsoft products. His experience in data and analytics spans 20 years, with positions at various technology startups and some well known larger companies such as Amazon and Expedia. He received a Ph.D. in mathematical psychology from Columbia University in 2000, and followed that with three years as a Post-doctoral Fellow at NASA Ames Research Center.
Rahul has been involved in children’s charities and welfare organizations since his early years in Kenya. One of the organizations he has worked with is the Joytown school in Thika, a boarding school for mentally and physically handicapped children. His involvement with The Grace Children’s Foundation (TGCF) and TGCF’s Children’s Resource Exchange Center began in 2017 with a project organized by Microsoft’s Hack for Good Initiative. Through this work, Rahul is commitied to helping transform TGCF into an organization that can help many more children in need.
