Michellee Nelson

Executive Assistant to CEO

Michellee is the Executive Assistant to CEO, Nancy Robertson where she works on day to day operations as well as the further development of the Children’s Resource Exchange Center (CREC). In order to inform the emerging CREC digital platform, TGCF is working on a pilot program, From One to 100. The program will connect up to 100 children to vital healthcare resources either here in the United States or in the regions where they reside.

Michellee was born and raised in New York City to Jamaican immigrants, who were instrumental in shaping her love for communications and mental wellness. In 2013, she graduated from Colgate University with a B.A. in English Literature, and following worked in corporate communications and operations.
In the winter of 2018, Michellee left her full-time corporate communications role to prioritize her passion for wellness to benefit underserved populations and found TGCF in 2019. What drew her most to this work was the diversity of clientele as well as the CREC model. Not only does the Foundation strive to connect any child in the world to medical resources, regardless of their ethnicity or socioeconomic background, but they are the beginning stages of scaling their model into a connective digital platform that would fill the gap and streamline the global healthcare system.
