John W. Lord II

Partner, Bendigo Partners, LLC

Born, raised and educated in the Northeast, John’s life path has been anything but “typical New England.” Upon graduation from the University of Vermont, John moved to New York City in 1986 and began a career in financial services. In 1992 he transferred to Japan where he met his lovely wife Katsuko. The Lords quickly began a family which to date consists of Abby, age 16, Wes, age 13 and Georgia, age 12.

In 2001, after nine wonderful years in Japan, John transferred to Hong Kong to run the Asia region for a global financial services company. A dedicated Asia specialist, John sees boundless opportunity for growth in the region but also recognizes that social responsibility is a key ingredient for its continued success.

Says Lord: “During my years in this part of the world I have searched for a balance of professional, family and social responsibility. With career and family in order, my introduction to Nancy Robertson and The Grace Children’s Foundation completes the circle.”

John’s commitment to TGCF lies in his belief that the children of today are the social fabric of tomorrow. He believes the plight of an abandoned or orphaned child does not have to be a lifetime of struggle and, through programs including education, health care and humanitarian aid, we have the ability to transform lives. John has drawn a line in the sand and his line is The Grace Children’s Foundation.
